Zebra IQ Color

The IQ Color 2000D label provides vibrant on-demand colour printing in eight standard colours and the option for additional special colours on request for visual cueing and prioritization. This direct thermal paper label offers flexibility over traditional preprinted labels, enabling accurate sortation with fewer roll changes for customers using multiple SKUs while printing magenta, red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and purple in predefined zones.

Zebra IQ Color 2000D revolutionizes identification when you need direct thermal paper labels that print vibrant colours on demand in predefined zones for visual applications requiring immediate colour-coded recognition. If you're looking to replace ink jet or laser colour solutions with a more efficient thermal printing approach that offers flexibility over traditional preprinted labels and reduces roll changes for multiple SKUs, this white coated direct thermal paper label (SAM68300-1) can print in 8 standard colours: Magenta, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, and Purple for accurate sortation and quicker prioritization. With a service temperature range of -65°F to 120°F (-54°C to 49°C) and minimum application temperature of 40°F (4°C), this 5.7 mil thickness label provides high-performance acrylic-based adhesive that creates such strong bonding the facestock rips before adhesion fails, ensuring secure attachment throughout the application lifecycle. The innovative colour printing technology enables hospitals to create visual cues for laboratory specimens, pharmacy applications, and specimen collection, while retail applications benefit from colour-coded price markdown systems and work-in-process identification that improves workflow efficiency. This solution delivers the colour flexibility and visual identification capabilities needed for hospitals (laboratory, pharmacy, specimen collection), work-in-process applications, retail price markdown systems, and organizations currently using ink jet or laser colour solutions where on-demand colour printing, visual recognition, and operational efficiency are critical.

Zebra IQ Color labels

How it works. IQ Color labels are manufactured to your specification. You choose where colour zones are needed in addition to standard black print. You can choose up to 3 colours plus black. Each colour needs to be in a separate zone on the label. To print in colour in the zones, simply add text, images or symbols in the required colour zone and when the label is printed, this information will turn from clear to your pre-specified colour.
